Assignment #33: Triptych Part 1

Part 1: My Plan/Story EAT. PRAY. LOVE. I had an epiphany in religion class about how I could interpret this message into my own story. The story is about an "everyday" homeless person and what they could be going through. For "eat," this is how they live their everyday lives in the street with limited sources in their sight and their emotional state because of their circumstances. The "praying" is their hope that they can make it through and that something more could come out of that experience of being homeless and that good could come in the future. The "love" is the idea that when you have nothing, you may want to help others instead of yourself (being selfless) and they hope that they can get good karma and get that love that they gave to others back later on in their life.

The Tutorial I Used: 5 Keys to Finding the Perfect Portrait Location Aspects I Used From This Tutorial:  I used 3/5 aspects from the article. The first one was that I chose a meaningful place because around this area is where he is happiest and it is like his playground, so I wanted to take a picture where his curiosity flourishes and he is able to have fun. The second aspect is that I used natural lighting that came from the skyline in my house that shined on his face. The last aspect that I used was that I took in inside our house that is quiet and there aren't many busy streets or people to distract the attention on my cat, Ollie.

Assignment #30: Through The Lens In An Entirely New Way…

Attempt #1: This is my attempt, for the real one, I need to crop more. I found out that I had to make it 3D for the final product, but this was my attempt at 2D. Final Product: Research: David Hockney is an English painter, draughtsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer. For almost 60 years, he pursued a singular career with a love of painting and its intrinsic challenges. He has examined and questioned how to capture the perceived world of movement, space, and time in two different dimensions. His paintings incorporated literature and he would use inspiration from poems in his art. He would also paint the interiors and exteriors of California homes. He was an adept photographer which was his main career and he abandoned painting to pursue jobs in photography, lithographs, and set and costume design for the ballet, opera, and theater.
